Mitsubishi Outlander Makes An Appearance at the NY Auto Show

Mitsubishi introduced their award winning revamp of the Mitsubishi Outlander at this year's New York Auto Show. It's the Japanese auto maker's smallest SUV to date, but also their best selling, especially at Lujack Kia Mazda Mitsubishi- where the vehicle is always in stock.

There've been a few exterior styling 'tweaks' along with revised suspension, matted to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) that makes driving on any terrain a breeze. There's also All-Wheel-Drive capability.

This is all powered by the Outlander and Outlander Sport 148-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, available in five-speed manual transmission as well. Mitsubishi says their refreshed CVT for 2013 "should improve acceleration and make shifts feel smoother."1

Mitsubishi changes up Outlander's grille slightly, adding new fog lamps, and revised bumpers. Eighteen-inch wheels are standard features across all trims. New colors include White Pearl and Quick Silver join Laguna Blue, Labrador Black Pearl, Mercury Gray, and Rally Red.

Inside, the cabin is adorned with chrome accents and comfortable fabric seating. The main control panel accompanies an optional dash mounted screen, activating all essentials, such as weather and traffic reports, GPS navigation, and entertainment.

Production of 2013's Outlander begins in July.
