2012 Kia Optima Starts the Year Off With a Bang

To put it simply, 2011 was a fantastic year for Kia. Why? Perhaps the tune of record-breaking sales and award-winning models rings a bell. But the good times are certainly nowhere near over for the ambitious automaker. In fact, Kia is moving into an equally pleasing future by earning a coveted award right off the bat.

Lujack Kia Mazda Mitsubishi is pleased to share that the stylish 2012 Kia Optima has been recognized as Autobytel's "2012 Sedan of the Year." For those unfamiliar, Autobytel is an automotive research group that strives to provide consumers with a strong armor of vehicle information by testing out each model themselves. After taking a ride in the new Kia Optima, all involved agreed that the well-rounded sedan not only exceeds expectations but sets the bar for other models in its class.

Needless to say, Michael Sprague, Vice President of Marketing and Communication, felt a strong sense of pride in the 2012 Optima model's performance. He points out, "The midsize sedan segment is more competitive than ever and Autobytel's recognition of the Optima continues to keep Kia's momentum going into 2012."1 Providing some of that kinetic energy are a whole group of trendy tech-features. In particular, the 2012 Kia Optima offers up an eight-speaker Infinity audio system, voice-activated infotainment, HD radio, full power accessories and USB connectivity.

Personally, we at Lujack Kia Mazda Mitsubishi are more than excited to see the progression of the Optima and other unique new Kia models (i.e. the Kia Soul) over the next 12 months.
