Two New Mazda Models at Geneva Auto Show

MAZDA has two new models at 2012's Geneva Auto Show - Takeri, a design concept, and the all new MAZDA CX-5.

Takeri's curvy style will undoubtedly be used on future models to be sold at Lujack Kia Mazda Mitsubishi.

Geneva also saw the introduction of multiple SKYACTIV engines, all of which will be available on the CX-5. These include: SKYACTIV-D 2.2-liter diesel (Europe only), a four-cylinder SKYACTIV-G gas engine, the six-speed SKYACTIV-Drive automatic, and SKYACTIV-MT manual. An AWD version will also be available at dealers, with optional 'i-stop' - MAZDA's start-stop technology.

Future cars featuring the Takeri will combine style and class, helping the auto maker hit the global sales target of 160,000 units a year.

These new SKYACTIV drivetrains ensure "that the Mazda is extremely enjoyable to drive, delivering outstanding fuel economy without compromising on its superior, refined performance."1
